Equivalent to the prestigious MICHELIN Stars awarded in fine dining, MICHELIN Keys evaluate properties on architectural design, interior character, service quality, overall value, and a distinct sense of place. In total, Saudi Arabia secured 54 hotel inclusions, with 17 elite properties earning Key distinction — spanning 13 One MICHELIN Key, 3 Two MICHELIN Key, and 1 exclusive Three MICHELIN Key property.

Saudi Arabia's MICHELIN Key Hotels
Last year was the first time MICHELIN acknowledged the growth and standing of the luxury hospitality sector Saudi Arabia. And this year, the recognition continues as ten additional destinations were awarded MICHELIN Keys in the 2026 standings.

In 2025, just three hotels were recognised as possessing One Key qualities. But for 2026, a total of 13 properties earned One MICHELIN Key, and were declared "a very special stay" by the MICHELIN Key Inspectors.
