Whether you're looking to travel locally or are feeling a little more adventurous, here are some new, direct routes connecting Saudi Arabia with a number of destinations across the Middle East, Europe and Asia. 

Cebu Pacific: Manila & Riyadh

Direct flights between Riyadh and Manila will soon be launched by the Philippines' largest low-cost carrier as it grows its operations in the Middle East. Riyadh was last served by the airline until July 2017. The airline announced a schedule of four weekly flights, detailing specific departure days for each direction: Riyadh to Manila services will run every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while Manila to Riyadh flights will depart on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Ethiopian Airlines: Addis Ababa & Jizan

Extending the range of Ethiopian Airlines flights across the Kingdom, this new flight connecting Addis Ababa and Jizan will be the airline's fifth direct route in service. Jizan, in the Jazan provinces is renowned for its greenery and rich agricultural heritage.

Flyadeal: Prague & Riyadh

Flynas is expanding its central European presence with the launch of its first direct, non-stop route connecting Riyadh to Prague for the summer 2026 season. Operating three times a week, this newly introduced link is specifically timed to capture the peak summer vacation rush to the Czech Republic. These flights will run only for a 12-week period to service summer explorations.

Flyadeal: Prague & Jeddah

Marking the budget carrier's first-ever direct service to the Czech Republic, Flyadeal’s new seasonal connection between Jeddah and Prague is part of a European expansion for the airline’s summer 2026 network. Running until September 26, the three-times-weekly route is being operated on an all-economy Airbus A320 fleet to cater to a rising wave of leisure travellers and holidaymakers from the Kingdom. Airport officials in Prague anticipate the newly launched schedule will draw over 20,000 dual-direction passengers during its brief 12-week summer window.

The latest addition to the Kingdom's direct flight network is the newly launched direct connection between the Kingdom's capital city of Riyadh and Italy's design capital of Milan — courtesy of the low-cost national carrier, Flyadeal. This newly announced route invites Saudi travellers, whether visiting for business or pleasure to enjoy the allure of northern Italy. Likewise, Italian visitors will find a smoother journey into Saudi Arabia’s capital to explore the city's cultural and historical core. This route will operate three times weekly from July 2, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Another new route for the summer season, Flyadeal will connect travellers with Milan via Bergamo Airport three times a week, from July. The Kingdom's low cost airline direct link will open up both cities to travellers seeking to explore a new destination, discover culture and enjoy an escape. This route will operate three times weekly from July 1, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Flynas: Rabat & Jeddah

This July, Flynas will become the first Saudi Arabian airline to service a direct route between Jeddah and Rabat, operating one weekly flight to link the two cities. With a duration time of just over 7 hours and 25 minutes, this new connection is expected to significantly ease travel for both business passengers and pilgrims, while further expanding the low-cost carrier's growing footprint across North Africa. In January, Flynas celebrated 3 years of operating flights between Jeddah and Casablanca.

These new direct, seasonal routes are slated to run from June 20, to October 24, 2026, operating three flights per week on Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Slated to take off from January 31, 2026, this new route between Muscat and Taif will operate three times weekly, although the days of operation are yet to be confirmed.

Although more than 15 exciting global destinations have been officially confirmed for the airline's network, the very first tickets available for purchase will connect Riyadh directly with London’s Heathrow Airport. Operated exclusively on the airline's state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet, this premier daily service is slated to become a flagship aviation corridor for both business and luxury travellers alike. Riyadh Air will officially link the Kingdom’s two primary economic centres starting June 14, launching a twice-daily service between Riyadh and Jeddah. To accommodate high-traffic passenger volume, the national carrier will increase frequency to three times daily on June 18, culminating in a robust schedule of four flights a day by July 2.
